Next Gen Facades were appointed in January 2025 to deliver a full design, supply and installation for the remediation of the facade on Dakins House, a 6-storey residential block in Cambridge.
Our works included localised removal of brickwork to allow for installation of fire barriers as well as removal of ACM cladding and insulation and installation of new cladding, insulation and fire barriers. We carried out a full design including submission of planning permission and appointment of building control.
The project was completed ahead of programme and offered a cost saving to the client. Check out our project video.
