Next Gen Facades were appointed in September 2023 to carry out re-cladding across 9 apartment blocks on an estate in Milton Keynes called Oakgrove. The buildings ranged in size and scope of works but covered façade types including render, brickwork and rainscreen cladding. Next Gen were working as Principal Contractor. After commencing re-cladding works, we discovered a number of building defects and, after informing the client, were kept on the project as principal contractor to deliver the remedial works to the latent defects.
We have worked with the client to expedite works wherever possible and continue to support them.
